Missing: One pair of Quads. If found, please call...

Tuesday
AM - 3mi + gym + 1mi
PM - 8 miles

Wednesday
AM - 4x1200 (90sec recovery); 8xstrides. 9 mi total

The original plan was to do this workout over the rolling dirt bike path by work. But when things picked up and I didn't don the running shoes until 7 PM, I decided to hold off until the morning for the workout and just put in some mileage.

Unfortunately this morning my legs were wrecked. Probably a combo of quad work in the gym + a later run on tuesday but it was like running on Jello. I had to change my mentality right away and focus on pushing through and staying mentally tough despite the tired legs. I made it through what should not have been too challenging of a workout and managed to get the last interval down to what I had wanted to start the workout at. Not too dejected about it cuz I think it would have actually been quite a solid workout if I had some legs under me. Just need some recovery for the quads and hopefully will be back to 100% for the 5K this weekend.
